Expenses & Obligations

How do I track recurring bills and renewals (obligations)?

Keep tabs on broadband, utilities, insurance, and agreement renewals before they're overdue.

  1. 1

    Understand what an Obligation is

Obligations are different from Expenses — they're recurring bills and renewals with a due date, like broadband, DTH, electricity/water, insurance, or your rental agreement renewal. Expenses are one-off spend; Obligations track things that repeat and can go overdue.

  2. 2

    Open Operations → Obligations

Go to Operations in the sidebar, then the Obligations tab. Pick the property you want to manage.

  3. 3

    Add an obligation

Click Add obligation. Set a label, type, recurrence (One-time / Monthly / Quarterly / Half-yearly / Annual), due date, and amount. It now shows in the list with a status badge — Overdue (red), Due soon (orange), Upcoming (grey), or Paid (green).

  4. 4

    Mark it paid

When you've paid a bill or completed a renewal, click Mark paid on that row. Recurring obligations automatically reset toward their next due date.
