Define your room tiers and pricing — and name them so you can tell them apart at a glance.
Open your property and go to the Sharing Config tab. A sharing type is a room tier: how many beds the room holds, and what it costs. You must create at least one sharing type before you can add any rooms — the Add room button stays disabled until you do.
(This tab doesn't appear for whole-unit properties, which are priced per unit instead.)
Click Add sharing type and fill in:
These become the defaults for every room you assign to this type. You can still override rent or deposit on an individual room, or for an individual guest at onboarding.
The Name field is free text, so use it to encode what actually distinguishes the tier — occupancy and the features that change the price. A good pattern is <beds>-sharing-<feature>:
2-sharing-AC2-sharing-NonAC3-sharing-AC-attached4-sharing-NonAC-commonWhy this matters: the sharing type name is what you pick from a dropdown every time you add a room, and what you scan when reviewing pricing. 2-sharing-AC vs 2-sharing-NonAC is instantly readable; two tiers both called "Double" that differ only in price are not.
Keep the pattern consistent across all your properties so the same name always means the same thing. Names must be unique within a property.
Each row has a pencil (edit) and trash (delete) button. Editing a sharing type's default rent changes what new rooms and guests inherit — it does not retroactively change rent for guests already onboarded at the old rate.
