Guests

How do I let a guest fill in their own details with a QR code?

Generate a scan-to-apply QR code so a prospective guest fills their own form instead of you typing it.

  1. 1

    Generate the QR code

Go to Guests in the sidebar and click Self-onboarding QR. If you manage more than one property, pick which one the code is for. A QR code appears, pointing at a public application form for that property.

  2. 2

Why this is faster than typing it yourself

Show the code to a prospective guest — on your screen, printed, or shared as a link — and they scan it, fill in their own name, phone, ID document, emergency contact, and other details on their own phone. You don't type any of it. It lands in your Requests queue for you to review, not directly into your guest list, so you're never forced to accept anything you haven't checked.

  3. 3

The code expires in 1 hour

Each code is valid for 60 minutes — a countdown on the dialog shows the time left. Re-opening the dialog within that hour shows the same code; once it expires, click Generate new code to get a fresh one. Don't screenshot a code for later use — generate a new one right before you need it.

  4. 4

Review and onboard from a submission

Open Guests → Requests. Each submission shows the applicant's name, phone, and property. Click Review & onboard to open the normal onboarding form with their details already prefilled — you still choose the bed/room, set rent/deposit, and confirm, exactly as with manual onboarding. Click Reject (with an optional reason) if you don't want to proceed with that applicant.
