How do I override a guest's rent or deposit?

Give one guest a rate that's different from the room's default pricing.

   Find the Rent and Deposit fields

   This happens at onboarding or activation time — there's no separate "override" button on an already-active guest. Open the guest's onboarding/activation dialog (from Guests → Add Guest, or from a reserved guest's Activate action).

   Edit the prefilled amount

   The Rent and Refundable deposit fields are prefilled from the bed or room's cascade default. Simply type a different number in either field.

   Confirm the override

   When your value differs from the default, a small note appears showing the original cascade default (e.g. "Cascade default: ₹8,000") so you can double-check before saving. This override is stored per guest — it doesn't change the room's default pricing for future guests.
