Operations

How do I approve meal-skip requests and see which guests are away?

Review guests' requests to skip meals, and see who's on vacation, across your properties.

  1. 1

    Open Operations → Food

Go to Operations → Food. It opens on the Skip requests tab by default — this is different from the property-level Food Menu tab, which only has the weekly menu. Operations → Food has three tabs: Skip requests, Vacations, and Weekly menu.

  2. 2

Approve or reject a skip request

Skip requests lists guests who've asked to skip a specific meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner/others) on a specific date, with their reason if they gave one. Click the green check to approve, or the red cross to reject. This needs approve-level Food access — a delegate without it sees the buttons disabled.

  3. 3

    See who's away

The Vacations tab lists guests currently away (Away now) and guests with an upcoming away period (Upcoming), grouped by guest with their date range and reason. This is a read-only summary — there's nothing to approve here; it's just built from their approved skip requests.

  4. 4

    Editing the weekly menu itself

The Weekly menu tab here is the exact same editor as the property's own Food Menu tab — see How do I set up the weekly food menu? for the full walkthrough of the 7×4 grid, timings, and cost-per-plate.
